What You Will Learn
This five-week course explores the concept of the Five-Fold Ministry, as defined and presented in the groundbreaking textbook "Equipping the Equippers" authored by Dr. Jonathan Welton. The Five-Fold Ministry is an essential framework for understanding and implementing effective leadership within the Christian church. Throughout this course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of each ministry's role, their interdependence, and their significance in the context of the modern-day church.
Description
Defining Fivefold Ministry (UGC302) is an introductory course focused on helping our disciples gain a better understanding of the five-fold gifts. Students are encouraged to evaluate the functions and gifts that are evident in their lives to help them determine if they are called in this compacity. Our season instructors, mentors, and coaches assist students in this highly sensitive discovery.
Course Requirements
All students enrolled in Discipleship 101 are required to take this course. For a student taking this course as a single course, there are no course prerequisites. The overall requirement for this course is as follows:
- Text Book: Equipping the Equipper by Dr. Jonathan Welton.
- Students enrolled in the Discipleship 101 program must complete UGC301 prior to taking this course.
- Must have computer and internet access
- Must be able to submit course assignments in a timely manner.
